Challenge
As the organization prepared to enter a new era of growth and community impact, CHWC turned to Design Ranch to
help lead a complete rebrand and name transformation. The goal was to reimagine the organization as Build WyCo,
a name that better reflects its mission to strengthen neighborhoods, empower residents, and lay the groundwork
for a brighter future in Wyandotte County. The challenge was to honor the organization’s legacy while building a brand
that felt modern, optimistic, and ready for what’s next.
Approach
Design Ranch developed a bold new identity that positions Build WyCo as the building block for the future. The visual language draws inspiration from structure and progress, with a modular pattern system that symbolizes growth and connection. A confident new logo and a suite of supporting marks bring flexibility and cohesion across platforms. The brand was extended through photography, copywriting, collateral, and website design, creating a unified look and voice that communicates strength and momentum. The result is an identity that feels active and forward-focused. One that celebrates community building in every sense of the word.
