University of Arkansas Student Organizations

The University of Arkansas invited Design Ranch to develop a system of wall graphics and wayfinding elements that not only improves navigation throughout the space, but also creates a strong sense of place reflective of the energy, culture, and diversity of the student organizations within it. The challenge was to balance clarity and functionality with expressive visual design, resulting in an engaging environment that fosters community connection and enhances the overall student experience.

Inspired by the ideas of weaving and interconnectedness, the design approach uses a modern interpretation of threads moving through a loom to represent the diverse student organizations within the space. The loom became a metaphor for the student center itself—a place where different identities and communities come together to create something stronger and more unified.
