Kansas City Public Library – Streetcar
Celebrating 150 years of Serving Kansas City
Project Description
To celebrate 150 years of the Kansas City Public Library serving the community, a special streetcar wrap design was created for the Kansas City Streetcar. The concept draws inspiration from the image of a bookworm, a playful and fitting metaphor that connects directly to the Library’s history and enduring mission of fostering literacy, learning, and curiosity. With the streetcar’s natural resemblance to a worm, the design transforms the vehicle into a whimsical, larger-than-life “bookworm” traveling through the heart of the city, symbolizing knowledge in motion. This creative wrap not only honors the Library’s legacy but also brings its story into the public eye in a dynamic and memorable way.
